Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and responsible for the APQP team by coordinating the entire project execution from cradle-grave and meet the deadline to accomplish the expected quality and delivery time frame.
- Ensure the project meet the agreed dealine without compromising on quality and delays.
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and minitoring the assigned engineering projects with digital project filing system which complies with IATF16949.
- Conduct and coordinate fruitful discussion among the APQP technical team members to analyze the issues raised during validation and to brainstorm with root causes and to effectively establish Corrective / Preventive actions and to validate the results.
- Coordinate and execute the ECN process by establishing proper cut off and buffer build plans and communicate with customer and follow up effectively from start to end.
- Transfer NPI projects to production and to monitor at least 3 consecutive production lots and to resolve in case if any issues arise as a improvement projects,
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes and recommending actions.
Basic Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- Proven working experience as a project engineer in Automotive molding industry at least for 3 years.
- Intermediate knowledge in Tooling, Tool design, DFM, PPAP, GDT, metrology and Plastic molding process.
- Familiar with interpretation of 2D drawings, specification, testing performance standards, regulations, best practices and industry standards.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Possess good project management supervision skills, time management organizational skills and decision making ability.
